Reference
Reviews, an Emerald journal with an international scope, is seeking article
submissions that focus on reference source(s) as opposed to the reference
process in all disciplines and subject areas. Sample article topics are:
- An overview or annotated
bibliography of a particular format, type, or reference source subject
area.
- A comparative review of two
or more sources in a specific subject area.
- A comparative review of a
reference source(s) in different formats.
- A viewpoint article about
types or range of resources in a specific subject area.
- Any other type of article that focuses on a
discussion of reference and information sources.
Articles
typically average approximately 3,000 words and should be a minimum of 2,000
words.
In
addition, Reference Reviews is expanding its Peer Review Board. Peer
reviewers should currently be practicing or former librarians, information
professionals, and/or subject specialists. Peer reviewers will review no more
than one article per month. It is expected that those individuals interested in
serving as peer reviewers will provide timely feedback and recommendations for
those manuscripts being reviewed.
If
you are interested in submitting a manuscript, serving as a peer reviewer, have
questions, or would like further information, please contact Michael LaMagna on mlamagna@dccc.edu
