I've known Ebenezer Oluwaseun Alonge all his life as my younger brother and a "servant of God''.
I must say I respect him for the call of God in his life.
Right from when he was a child, God has been using him to minister with his beautiful voice at ECWA Ode-oola Junior Choir. Eben was a star of the Moonlight singers where he used songs at a tender age to preach the gospel.
I vividly remember, when he would gather other young children for revival at our residence at No 1 Olabo street Oke-Itunu Mokola Ibadan. He would lead his mates in signing, dancing, praying and preaching just as he is doing today.
Eben, intelligent and smart, was always top of his class particularly when he was at Saint Patrick College Ibadan. I was so proud of him during the valedictory services where he got some awards as a prefect and as the best in Literature in English and some other subjects.
He got admission to the University of Ibadan on merit and he studied English Language and Literature to master degree level and graduated with great distinction. At the University of Ibadan, Eben led the largest congregation of Christian students at different capacities: as the choir coordinator and the president. I was so proud to refer to him as my brother at the University of Ibadan.
Eben is a man that knows what he wants right from a tender age and he pursues his goals with great determination and keenness. I remember, we all believed he would choose a white collar job and pursue a career as a university lecturer or as a media personality but Eben averred that he is not called to work for any man but for God. I remember two occasions where he took employment just to please us, all he got at the end was disappointment due to conspiracies and resentment.
Today at 40 it is evident that Eben is fulfilled and blessed as a global evangelist and entrepreneur philanthropy doing the work of the Master. He is still an academic with a Master in Divinity from a top seminary in the United States of America.
Today Eben is an international Pastor, a lecturer of pastors, gospel song writer and minister, a writer, a digital media personality and a social media influencer superintending David’s Court Ministry and leading his world-class charity organization, Eyes of Compassion Foundation based in Ontario Canada.
I'm proud of you dear brother, Pastor Ebenezer Oluwaseun Alonge and I thank God for the Anointing of God in your life. Happy 40th Birthday
