Goodwill message in Honour Dr. Mrs. Ikeoluwapo Oreofe Moody
on her retirement thanksgiving Service on, March 29, 2022, at ECWA Chapel, Ibadan Nigeria by Dr. A.J. Alonge.
Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. (Prov. 31:29)
This Daughter of Zion and Mother in Israel has for more than 40 years been a committed and resourceful member of this church. Just like Deborah, the wife of Lapidoth, she has excellently demonstrated virtues that promote the sanctity of marriage, godliness and service to God and humanity. If this were to be a church where women are ordained as pastors and deaconesses, I am sure she must have been a big veteran pastor or deaconess. It is however not the office occupied but the impact made in the lives of people that matters. We as a church testify of the good hand of God upon your life.
Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. -Prov. 31:10
We have watched over the years as a church and we have come to the conclusion that your price is far above rubies. For more than 30 years, this woman of grace has been the superintendent of the ECWA Chapel Children Children church and the superintendent of the Sunday Department for many years. Dr. Moody is the Bible teacher of teachers and she has raised a generation of teachers and I am glad and proud to say I am one of them. With the permission of academics in the congregation today, it may not be out of place to address her as Professor Ikeoluwpo Moody. How I wish such a position exists in the church. On a lighter note, having being Superintendent of Children Sunday School for more than 30 years, Dr. Ikeoluwapo Moody is declared a Professor. Please put your hands together for Professor Ikeoluwapo Oreofe Moody, Ph.D.!

It is God that rewards, it is also the duty of man to appreciate. As a Church, we have felt the impact of Dr. Moody through numerous services. Mummy Moody is one of the pillars that God has planted in ECWA, not only here in Ibadan but in the entire ECWA church in Nigeria, and in particular, South-Western Nigeria. She has been an active member of the church who has served and still serving in several capacities. She is a giver, a counselor, an encourager, and a diligent helper of destinies.
She has been very active and dedicated She really used our position as an administrator to serve God and mankind in different capacities. -let's mention some of them here:

üDr. Ikeoluwapo Moody was a Women Fellowship leader at ECWA Chapel. Ibadan,

üMember of ECWA Ibadan District Church Council Youth Empowerment scheme
It is apparent that Dr. Ikeoluwapo Moody helped many qualified ECWA members and others to secure good jobs.
I can’t just imagine, how Mummy moody with full-time job responsibility as a wife, mother Grandmother, and administrator juggles all these roles and still has ample time for the Lord – attending weekly service regularly and committee meetings.
Now that you are retiring but not tired, I believe Mummy moody will even give more time to the work of the Lord to humanity. ,
