Meet Dr Bola Atulomah the new Polytechnic Librarian of Federal Poly, IIaro, Nigeria

Dr. (Mrs.) Bola Christie Atulomah has been named the next Polytechnic Librarian at The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, with effect from August 2, 2021. She has been in office since then.

Dr. Bola Christie Atulomah completed her early education at the Holy Trinity Primary School in Iwaro-Oka, Akoko, in 1972. I went to St Patrick's College in Iwaro-Oka, Akoko, and Mount Carmel Secondary School in Ikare Akoko (1982). She went to the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, to pursue her desire for higher education, and graduated with a Bachelor Honours degree in Modern European Language (Russian) in 1989. She went at the Adventist Seminary of West Africa (ASWA) in Ili as well.

She served as the Pioneer University Librarian at Adeleke University in Ede, Osun State (July 2011–July 2016); Deputy University Librarian at Babcock University in Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State (May 2006–June 2011); and Assistant Chief University Librarian at the Iddi Basejjabalaba Memorial Library (IBML) at Kampala International University in Kampala, Uganda (October 2018–March 2021). Babcock University, Ilishan, Ogun State, established the Foundation Head of Information Resource Management Program, which is now a full-fledged Department in the School of Management and Social Sciences.
Dr. Atulomah has worked in academic libraries for over twenty years in a variety of capacities. Very active in research and with a large number of publications.
