Alhaji Labaak’s 70 Years Journey of God’s Mercy

70 YEARS JOURNEY OF LIFE: APPRECIATING THE WORK OF GOD

Alhaji Lateef Abiodun Akande was born on 29th, September 1951 into the family of Akerele, His father was a businessman who make use of grinding machines to earn a living, while his mother was a trader.

He was able to finish primary school education during the era of Awolowo and that is the maximum level of education he obtained. He had worked in so many places, struggling here and here just to make both ends meet. He first worked as a labourer in a glass-making company at Challenge area in Ibadan, Oyo state which required him to wake up as early as 4:00am, despite the dangerous nature of that time of the day, although, there were still some security measures in the country unlike the situation of security presently. Not so long, the company stopped working so he had to search for another job.

He later found another job as a labourer at a building construction company along the Oke-Ado area of Ibadan where he and other colleagues worked at construction sites before he later left the place to learn welding where he spent up to four years. Within a twinkle of an eye, it was time for him to graduate from the vocational training but then there was no money to do that.
Later on, he started going to shop with his uncle who sell roofing sheets, and he was always depending on the token given to him by his uncle to survive. Just like every other people have the desire to achieve more in life, he struggled more harder and finally got himself a shop for cement trading.

He had faced a lot of challenges in life. Talking of when he wanted to get married to his first wife, a lot of people went to his wife trying to discourage her not to marry him because he was found carrying the load for people on the streets before he could make money but due to the kind of love she had for him, she insisted on marrying him.

To cut the long story short, after all the struggles, God crowns his effort and make him a successful man to the extent that people started thinking they he did money ritual, but then when God's time comes, it comes like a miracle and it is indeed a miracle and a result of being hard working. alhaji Lateef Akande Abiodun clocked 70on Wednesday 29th, September 2021 and that calls for celebration.

Thanks for reading this beautiful story of Alhaji Lateef Abiodun Akande, you shall also have a beautiful story to tell, stay blessed!.
