Most Supportive Lecturer in the University of Ibadan

Lecturing is a noble calling that goes beyond teaching and research.

Mentorship is an essential ingredient in the process of leading the human mind and soul to the best information that is capable of leading to an effective performance of necessary tasks, thereby, creating lifelong skills, experience, or/and satisfaction.  Not everything can be learned from the classroom, the library, and World Wide Web.

From time to time, to be supportive lecturers we must consciously make teaching and learning interesting and engaging.
Lecturer as a mentor must be an encourager, an influencer, a guardian, an adviser, and a helper -warm, accessible, enthusiastic, and caring.

A supportive lecturer provides opportunities for students to express their feelings and he lives by example...

I express my deep appreciation to the Library, Archival and Information Studies Students Association for bestowing upon me this great "Most Supportive Lecturer Award 2019-2021 Academic Session"  Thanks for seeing in me the virtue and other qualities of a supportive lecturer.
I benefited immensely from CARTA - Consortium for Advanced Research Training in Africa  CARTA Ph.D. Fellowship. It makes me an extraordinary academic.

This award is dedicated to my teachers in all the colleges and other institutions that I passed through. Thanks  for being supportive teachers and  for teaching me how to teach and impact the life of other others.
