Yagba Community Rejoices as State Approves New University on Okun Land

Yagba community celebrates the recent announcement of an upcoming state university, as decided by the State Executive Council, to be built on Okun land. The Apapo Omo Yagba Youth Wing gave a communique expressing their excitement and appreciation for the decision made on May 17, 2023.

The communique highlights the importance of having a well-established university in Okun, a region highly revered for its academic brilliance and achievements. The youths of Yagba are grateful to His Excellency Yahaya Adoza Bello and the council for finally addressing this long-overdue need. 

The new university will offer countless opportunities for the community and be a significant contributor to the progress of the region. The Yagba community welcomes this decision with open arms and looks forward to its continued growth and prosperity.
